The Study Concepts, if practiced regularly, will help you to develop the ability to sing, play and hear melodies and chord changes with a heightened awareness. To accomplish this, I use the Movable DO System, because the solfege monsyllables automatically identify the notes and chords of a tune in relation to a key center. Through the various activities in this text you will sharpen your intellectual and physical sensibility to notes in relation to the key (horizontally) and in relation to the provided or implied harmony at the time of occurrence (vertically).
